Burlington lineman becomes newest recruit to join OUA team’s 2014 class.

From the moment Jordan Sidsworth began his official visit to one OUA school, he soon realized that he could not go elsewhere to begin his CIS career.

Consequently, the 5ā€™11, 270 pound lineman from Burlington, Ontario has committed to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.Ā  Sidsworth will join the team for the 2014 OUA season.

ā€œImmediately following my visit on campus, I couldn’t imagine choosing any other school,ā€ recalled Sidsworth of his official visit. Ā ā€œIt felt like home.ā€

ā€œI was very welcomed and immediately felt a part of the family. University of Toronto is a very reputable institution academically and their football program is on the rise. I’m thankful for the opportunity and I’m excited to get things started.ā€

The lineman comes to the Varsity Blues after completing his high school career with the Nelson Lords of the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association (HSSAA).Ā  Moreover, he has suited up for the Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
