Football Nova Scotia announces First Ever Under-16 Provincial All-Star Tackle Football Team Selected

Lantz, N.S. – Football Nova Scotia is excited to announce the first ever Under-16 Provincial All Star Tackle Football Team.

Top players and coaches who played in the Indoor Junior Spring League have been chosen to represent Nova Scotia on the Under-16 Provincial All Star Team. Players from the Dartmouth Destroyers, Timberlea Renegades and Truro Freightliners are teaming together for two games versus New Brunswick in a home and home series in June. The first game is Sunday, June 9 at 2 p.m. at East Hants Sportsplex. The away game will be at Rocky Stone Field in Moncton, N.B. Sunday, June 16 at 2 p.m.

The new team is made up of talented 14 and 15-year-olds from various areas of Nova Scotia. This event has hopes to expand in the future, and create a best of the Maritimes series including P.E.I.
