Football Saskatchewan announces Football Canada Cup 40-man roster: Defending champs

Football Saskatchewan is happy to announce its roster for the 2011 U18Ā  Football Canada Cup Team Saskatchewan Team. Nearly 250 eligible playersĀ  from all over Saskatchewan tried out in two combine style camps held inĀ  Regina and Saskatoon and a final weekend selection camp in Regina on MayĀ  Long Weekend to make up the 40 man roster plus taxi squad.
Players fromĀ  6,9, and 12 aside programs are represented and span the entire distanceĀ  of programs in the province from Nipawin and Hudson Bay in the North toĀ  Stoughton and Carlyle in the South. 28 different high schools areĀ  represented on the team which is a testament to the high level ofĀ  Football played throughout the province and to all the local coaches whoĀ  dedicate hours of hard work to developing these young men.
