Football Saskatchewan announces Football Canada Cup 40-man roster: Defending champs

Football Saskatchewan is happy to announce its roster for the 2011 U18Β  Football Canada Cup Team Saskatchewan Team. Nearly 250 eligible playersΒ  from all over Saskatchewan tried out in two combine style camps held inΒ  Regina and Saskatoon and a final weekend selection camp in Regina on MayΒ  Long Weekend to make up the 40 man roster plus taxi squad.
Players fromΒ  6,9, and 12 aside programs are represented and span the entire distanceΒ  of programs in the province from Nipawin and Hudson Bay in the North toΒ  Stoughton and Carlyle in the South. 28 different high schools areΒ  represented on the team which is a testament to the high level ofΒ  Football played throughout the province and to all the local coaches whoΒ  dedicate hours of hard work to developing these young men.
