Richmond RCMP recovered the body of former UBC football player Kory Nagata on the Fraser River Sunday night in British Columbia.

According to the Province, Nagata, a 24 year old, was swept away when trying to retrieve a football from the water. Two other males jumped in to attempt to help him, but were unable to rescue Nagata before they pulled themselves to safety.
