Maxime Sattlecker started playing football in 2012 at the age of 13 with the Gatineau Vikings.

The defensive end joined his high school team at Collège Saint-Alexandre de Gatineau with the Titans in 2013, and continues to play with them today.

His goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to, “make it to the top 100, demonstrate my football abilities and showcase my skills to college/university coaches as a future recruit.”

In the offseason, Maxime trains during at his school’s gym during lunchtime, as well as at Optimum Performance Athlétique in Gatineau.

In the future, the Titan hopes to attend uOttawa, McGill, Laval, Montreal or Waterloo because of their great engineering programs.

Maxime’s idol on the field is J.J. Watt, because he is a great athlete and plays the same position that the Titan aspires to play.

“Football is an intense sport that allows me to be aggressive,” said Maxime. “I enjoy the teamwork aspect and the strategic nature of the game.”
