Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): Football got CE Szeman through some tough times

Brady Szeman has been playing football and mainly the Centre position for 6 years for both the Vernon Magnums and then transitioned to high school football with the Vernon Panthers.

The 5’11 180lbs centre is a 2020 graduate, but is looking forward to the CFCFPC and getting noticed.

Even though Brady mainly plays offensive line, his football role model is Russell Wilson. Szeman added about Wilson, “He always gives 100 percent, even when he is injured. That is what I strive to do.”

Resiliency has always been a big part of Szeman’s game. He started playing football and continues to because it got him through some “tough times”.

Brady’s goals for the CFCFPC are simple. “I just want to get better at the sport I love.” Szeman replied.

Having a healthy diet and going to the gym are what gets Brady through the off-season. Not always the easiest things to do as a teenager.

“I have very much enjoyed my football experience so far. I have made new friends and it is a positive environment,” is how Szeman describes his 6 years of community and high school football thus far.
