Connor DePodesta began his football career at the young age of seven, where he played in the London Minor Football Association (LMFA) for seven years.

During his time on the gridiron, he played the quarterback, defensive back and wide receiver positions.

Connor has also played with the Forest City Thunderbirds in the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) for four years, as well as spending four years with his high school team, the Glendale Gemini of the Thames Valley Regional Athletic Association (TVRAA).

The Gemini has also competed in a Fox 40 Profile Challenge (formally OPC) in the past.

“My goal this year in [the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge] is to break CFC top 100,” said Connor.

During the offseason, he does training at the gym, participates in soccer and plays basketball.

In terms of his future, the 2017 graduate has visited Carleton, Western, Laurier, Guelph and Waterloo, but is considering Carleton.

On the field his role model is Juilo Jones because his height and ball vision is what he compares himself to.

“We play the same way out on the field,” added the Gemini.

He loves playing football because it is a place where he feels most confident and at home.

“I’ve played football for most of my life and I love the feeling I get every time I step out onto the field,” continued Connor.
