Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (Central): OL Berwick happy to show off his skills

Alex Berwick started playing football three years ago, and during that time he has been fortunate enough to play on amazing teams and win two championships.

During his first year with the Gloucester Raiders in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) he was invited to play in the All Star game for the AIA High School All Star game. β€œIt was an unbelievable experience,” said Alex.

He also plays with his high school, L’Escale de Rockland, in the LFC during the school year.

Currently, the offensive lineman is playing for the Cumberlan Panthers in the Ontario Provincial Football League (OPFL) and is participating in the Christo Bilukidi Training program.

Alex’s goals for the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge are to demonstrate his skills and potential to be the best of his abilities.

As a 2018 graduate, Alex also sees the CFC100 top prospect list as a goal of his.

During the offseason, the Panther does training and camps to always improve his skills, knowledge and physical strength. β€œI am currently training with former NFL player, Christo Bilukidi, and attending two Cumberland Panthers training camps,” explained Alex.

Bilukidi also happens to be Alex’s role model because he was just a normal guy who worked very hard to achieve his goals and one can only hope to become a professional football player.

β€œFootball is a passion for me,” added the Panther, β€œI love the training and I love the plays.”

β€œI am a team player and will do all I can for my team to win.”
