Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): QB Smith ready to put in the work

Size isn’t everything. NFL quarterback, Russell Wilson, has shown us this and it’s one reason why Zack Smith looks up to him as a role model. “[he’s] a smaller QB and he’s mobile.” Zack says.

Having played for seven years now, Smith has been pretty successful with the Vernon Panthers as they went 4-o in regular season play for 2016 in the AA Varsity, Okanagan Conference in British Columbia.

While his goal for the CFCFPC is to become a better athlete and player, he also just loves football because it’s a “fun game to watch and play.”

In order to improve his athletic and football ability, Zack plans on training and lifting weights in the off-season. He will need to do this in order to keep up with demands of the sport and to get him to the next level.

He goes on to say that football is very “physical and aggressive” so he will need to put the hard work in now. With this attitude, Smith can only hope for success.
