Two years ago was when Genesis Bediako started his gridiron career. During those years, he has learned a lot, and has developed as a player and a student of the game.
Genesis is currently playing for the St. Roch Ravens in the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) and in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) with the Brampton Bulldogs.
For the Fox Prospect Challenge, his goals are to go out and perform to the best of his abilities and to get more exposure.
“In the offseason, I train with my trainer to help me expand my skills set and to stay active so that when the season starts I am ready to go,” said Genesis, who plays running back and slotback.
On the field, the Raven’s idol is Marshawn Lynch because he watched him a lot since he plays for his favourite team and is a great running back.
“I love playing football because it gives me a chance to have fun and play with my friends,” said the Raven. “It also allows me to let out my aggression in a controlled matter.”
