Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): For the love of “family and brotherhood” says Mosky

Being a part of something is what every athlete strives for. Sam Mosky is no different.

Playing for two years now, the 6’0, 155-pound runningback says, “I started football when I was 14, in grade 8, and I have loved it ever since.”

Mosky is currently on the CFC50 ranked Mount Douglas Rams high school team in the BC high school football league. He has also played for the Saanich Wolverines and been on Team BC.

He has been awarded the Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Special Teams MVP, and Offensive MVP.

But it’s not just the awards that motivates Mosky. “I love football because of the family and brotherhood of the game,” he says.

In the off-season, he trains in the gym and does speed school multiple times a week.

Looking up to Odell Beckham Jr. of the NFL New York Giants, Mosky says he appreciates how Odell has been dominate at his position ever since he entered the league.

Going to the CFCFPC will help to improve Mosky’s football skill and ability. Just like Beckham Jr., working his way towards dominating in the sport he loves.
