Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): OL Grzechnik looking for exposure

WJ Mouat Hawk, Tim Grzechnik, is no stranger to the playing field. An offensive lineman, this 6’5, 300lbs athlete has been playing football for eight years now.

“I started playing football in middle school for my local community team, the coaches there were HUGE contributing factors to my commitment to this sport, they inspired me to continue and supported me throughout the years I played with them.” he says.Ā

The CFC Fox 40 Prospect Challenge is something that he wanted to do in order to gain exposure and to “promote” himself. He believes that it is a place where coaches will see him play and showcase his talent. The work that he is prepared to do in the off-season will allow him to do just this. He will hit the gym and do a program of power-cleans, major lifts, footwork drills to get him ready.

When asked if he has any specific role models that he looks up to in his sport, Grzechnik replied, “I don’t have a specific role model that I model my play after, but if I had to say one player it would be Ndamukong Suh. I love his aggression, his power, and his sheer domination. The fact that even if the O-Lineman is an amazing player, they still have little chance at stopping him.”

Tim sees football as a way to bring players together. He finishes by saying, “I love being able to get away with beating the tar out of kids on the field, then being able to laugh about it after the game, its one thing that I think brings players together in Football”.
