Wide receiver and defensive back Robert Scott loves to play football because it is something where he can meet great people, but also compete at the top to be his best.

“Football is a great way to potentially receive a way to get an education, which makes me want to play harder,” said Robert.

Robert started his football career 11 years ago, and over that time has played with the York Simcoe Bucs, the OVFL All Stars and has participated in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge.

He also has spent some time with, and is still with, the Metro Toronto Wildcats.

During the 2017 season, the Wildcat collected 20 receptions, 297 receiving yards and four touchdowns. As a defensive player, he got seven solo tackles, eight tackle assists and two interceptions.

During his career, Robert received MVP awards, Most Dedicated Player, Offensive MVP’s, 2013 OMFL Championship ring and Most Outstanding Player.

The WR/DB also has had the privilege to introduce kids to football at the 2016 Grey Cup event at the University of Toronto.

Moreover, the Wildcat loves his positions and thinks he has an edge because of route running, breaking tackles, catching the ball, scoring, an ability to jump and knowledge of the game.

Robert’s goals for the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge are, “to showcase my talent and to contribute to my team success.”

Also as a member of the Class of 2019, a goal of his is to be on the CFC100 list.

During the offseason he also attends football camps, fitness classes and the gym to help improve his abilities.

On the field his role model is Orion Edwards of the Guelph Gryphons because he is a hard worker and very humble, as well as a great friend, positive person and a good person to be around.

During the season a typical game day routine for Robert consists of staying loose, listening to music, encouraging teammates and just being happy.
