Ottawa & Vaughan standouts nab additional NCAA Division 1 offers.

It’s been a busy weekend Ā for two Ontario born recruits.

Yesterday, Jonathan Femi Cole received two additional NCAA Divison 1 offers.Ā  These ones came courtesy of the University of Buffalo Bulls and the University of Nevada Wolfpack. Ā This is on the heels of 5ā€™11, 218 pound running back from Vaughan, Ontario receiving his first one on February 20th from the University of Minnesota Gophers.

Currently, Femi-Cole is suiting up for his high school team, St. Andrewā€™s College Saints of the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA).Ā  The Saints running back has also played for a 7vs7 team called IDFFL, which was founded by Coach Anthony Cannon.

Femi-Cole began his football career in grade nine for the St. Joan of Arc Thunder of the York Region Athletic Association (YRAA); he was instantaneously hooked on the sport.

The Ontario offensive standout moved on to have a successful career with the Newmarket Bucs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).Ā  During his time with the Bucs, he was honoured for his exceptional play on the field with Player of the Week, OVFL Offensive Player MVP honours as well as an OVFL All-Star selection.

Should Femi-Cole decide on the Bulls, he would be reunited with a former teammate.

Recently, Saints quarterback Chris Merchant officially committed to the Bulls on NCAA Signing Day (February 5th).

Neville Gallimore

Meanwhile, the offers keep on piling up for Neville Gallimore.Ā  On Thursday, CFC reported that the 6ā€™3, 280 pound defensive end from Ottawa, Ontario received four offers in less than a week.Ā  This past Friday, Gallimore was offered by both the University of Minnesota Gophers and Mississippi State Bulldogs. Then on Sunday night, the defensive standout got his seventh offer from TCU (Texas Christian University)

Gallimore is currently attending Canada Prep Football Academy and is playing for the Raiders.Ā  Among the other teams he has suited up for include St. Patrick Fighting Irish of National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSAA), junior varsity Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and South Ottawa Mustangs.
