Gee-Gees welcomes a southern Ontario commit to their 2019 class.
Brenden Day, a wide receiver from Nelson High School, will be packing his bags and heading to the nation’s capital after signing with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees.
Day, who is from Burlington, Ontario, has played with both the Nelson Lords (HSSAA) and the Burlington Stampeders (OFC). Entering the 2017 season, Jeff Brock, the Lords’ head coach, told CanadaFootballChat.com that Day “has the potential to be a blue-chip U Sports recruit.” He was also considered the team’s “X” factor. The 6’4, 175lbs athlete has also played as a slotback and long snapper.
