Ottawa secured commitments from two talented linemen, one on either side of the ball, for the 2020 campaign. Each of them participated in the 2019 Fox 40 Prospect Challenge.
Trent Chase (6’2, 297 lbs) – Defensive Lineman from Canterbury High School (New Milford, CT)
Chase is a talented defensive lineman from Ajax, Ont., but attends a college prep program, Canterbury High School, in Connecticut. The Canadian is returning to his home province to wreak havoc on the frontlines of rival OUA offences. Each of the two new recruits flourished in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge.

Jacob Traynor (6’2, 280 lbs) – Offensive Lineman from Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute (Ottawa, ON)
The 6’2 and 280-pound Traynor is a local product from Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute with a knack for protecting the quarterback and opening lanes for his backfield to operate through. Ottawa is receiving a polished lineman with the potential to bolster the Gee-Gees offence in 2020 and beyond, considering linemen are arguably the most important part of an offence.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
