Greatest NFL players who also won a Grey Cup

Football is a beautiful sport and it is greatly popular both in the United States and Canada. Not only does the NFL and the CFL produce great action on the pitch, but it also gives great betting opportunities to punters. It is not uncommon to find vociferous football fans searching for Bet365 bonus code for spicing up their sporting experience.

And although Bet365 is a reputable bookmaker who offers generous bonuses and promotions, smart punters always make themselves familiar with all the terms and conditions that make them eligible to avail a bonus. They check geographical restrictions and understand conditions for withdrawing their winnings. They also donā€™t bet randomly and tend to do some research before their wager.

Warren Moon

Seeing the incredible success of Warren Moon, it is surprising that he was never drafted out of college. The former gridiron football quarterback began his professional career with the Edmonton Eskimos in 1978 and went on to achieve great success with the CFL side. Between 1978 and 1982, Moon bagged five Grey Cups. He was twice awarded the Grey Cup MVP.

His performances for the Eskies finally caught the attention of the NFL and he was signed by the Houston Oilers in 1984. However, his age had reached 28 by that time and everyone thought his career wouldnā€™t last long. He surprised all once again as his skills actually got better with age. His passing and touchdown stats earned him accolades at the Oilers where he stayed until 1993. He played for three more teams (Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, and Kansas City Chiefs) before bringing the curtain on his career in January 2001.

Warren Moon has the distinction of being the only player who has been inducted into both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

Doug Flutie

Doug Flutie achieved great successes in just about every league he played in. He showed his football skills in the NFL, CFL as well as the USFL. Flutie rose to prominence at Boston College where he won the Heisman Trophy. However, his fame really took off when his touchdown pass defeated Miami in a game in 1984.

For a brief period, he played for Donald Trumpā€™s New Jersey General of the USFL before signing with the NFLā€™s Chicago Bears and later the New England Patriots. He went to play in the CFL in 1990 and there he garnered incredible successes. Playing between Calgary Stampeders, Toronto Argonauts, and Buffalo Bills, he registered three Grey Cups and three Grey Cup MVP awards.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
