CFC TOP 100 lineman joins CWUAA team’s 2014 class.

Christian Krause will be playing in the CWUAA conference. However, he will be moving provinces for his CIS career.

Recently, the CFC TOP 100 lineman from Victoria, British Columbia signed with the Manitoba Bisons for the 2014 season.

“It was really the right fit for me; I felt at home,” explained Krause of his decision.  “I know with the help of the coaches, players, and facilities, I will be able to accomplish my future goals.”

“I love the fact that there are so many guys from British Columbia and that I know so many of them. I really felt like I wanted to be a part of a team that needed me and that I could help, so I felt like I could help University of Manitoba! When I thought about it, I knew hands down that University of Manitoba was the right fit for me!”

The 6’5, 315 pound offensive/defensive lineman comes to the Bisons after suiting up for the Mount Douglas Rams of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).  This past season, he registered 37 tackles and two sacks.  Among the other teams Krause has played for during his career include Peninsula Wildcats, Victoria Renegades and Team British Columbia.
