The Indianapolis Colts waisted little time in scooping up Tevaun Smith after the NFL Draft.
Yesterday, the Colts inked the 6’5, 205 pound receiver from Toronto, Ontario to a Free Agency contract:
It’s all about getting an opportunity. Thank you @Colts !!

In March, Smith put forth an impressive showing at the Iowa Hawkeyes Pro Day in front of 31 teams.
His testing results were as follows: 4.38 and 4,41 in 40 yard dash, 38 inch Vertical Jump, 10’2 Broad Jump, 4.26 in Short Shuttle, 6.72 in three-cone drill and 13 reps on bench press.
Smith was ranked second in the Final Edition of the CFL Scouting Bureau Rankings which were released last week.
With the Hawkeyes this past season, he amassed 546 yards on 30 receptions and three touchdowns.
The wide receiver previously played for the Toronto Metro Wildcats (OVFL) and Chaminade College School Gryphons. In the 2010-2011 season, Smith got MVP for the Gryphons. For his exceptional play with Kent School in Connecticut, Smith made All New England offensive player. Additionally, he led Kent into championship football game against Taft and says losing that game is the highlight of his football career. He was awarded the teamβs MVP Award.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
