Couture started his gridiron career with the Notre Dame Cactus and is still playing in the team. He has been part of the Cactus’ Bol d’Or win last season. The player also played in the All-Star team last year, and has been part of Team Quebec 2016.

The best moment of his last football year was winning the Canada Cup championship with team Quebec.

For now, Couture hasn’t signed with any college team yet, he still has to get his high school diploma. He has been approached by some colleges, but nothing serious for the moment. However, the player has some great goals for the future.

“My main goal is to play in the NCAA. If not, in the CIS, I would love to play for the Montreal Carabins.” admitted the kicker.

His CIS choice will be based on the school program and on the location. “I want to be a doctor, so my choice needs to be based on that” maintained the athlete.

His head coach represents Couture’s main football and life inspiration. “He keeps me working and making me better as a player. He wants me to reach my goals, and always helps me to get there.” said the player.

His weekly training consists of going to the gym 2 times a week and one session of stretching every day.

His goal for the off-season was to get even more accurate in his field goal. Couture admitted being willing to work hard with his coaches on and off the field to get there.

“I am willing to do anything to reach my goal and there is nobody who can stop me”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
