Lancers welcome 3 late commits to team

Windsor adds two out-of-province and one local commit to their 2018 class.

The Windsor Lancers’ 2018 class has grown by three with the additions of quarterback Colby Henkel from the Kamloops Broncos (CJFL), defensive back Issachar Sookwah from St. Joan of Arch Catholic High School and offensive lineman Taylor Briggs from Herman Academy.

Colby Henkel

Before joining the Kamloops Broncos, Colby Henkel was a member of the Parkland Panthers (MEHSL). The 6ā€™3, 225lbs athlete is from Stony Plain, Alberta. He joined the Broncos in 2016.

Issachar Sookwah

Issachar Sookwah has played with Huronia Stallions (OFC) since 2014. In 2017, he received a special teams award from the Stallions. He is 6ā€™1, 165lbs.

Taylor Briggs

Taylor Briggs, who is 6ā€™4, 280lbs, is from Windsor, Ontario, where he played with the W.F. Herman Green Griffins (WECSSAA) in high school.
