Lehigh gives #CFC100 OL Fournier first NCAA Division 1 offer (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, a gridiron dream became a reality for #CFC100 Chris Fournier.

The 6’4, 275 pound offensive lineman from Ottawa, Ontario received his first NCAA Division 1 offer. Ā It came courtesy of Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team, Lehigh Mountain Hawks.

Fournier announced the news last night on social media:

Currently, Fournier is preparing for his final season with Alexandra, Virginia high school team, Episcopal Maroon. Ā He is a teammate of both #CFC100 second ranked Luiji Vilain (verbally committed to Michigan Wolverines) and third ranked Jonathan Sutherland (verbally committed to Penn State Nittany Lions).

Previous to the Maroon, the offensive lineman suited up for the Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) as well as St. Peter Knights of the National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSAA). He represented his home province as a member of Team Ontario at the 2014 Football Canada Cup in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where the team won gold.

Fournier trains with Victor Tedondo at Gridiron Academy in Ottawa.

This past May, Fournier was included in the first edition of the #CFC100 CLASS 2017 RANKINGS.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
