McGill commit ready for life in new province

McGill adds an out-of-province commit to their 2018 class.

Maren Bradbrooke, an athlete from Nanaimo District Secondary School, will be packing his bags and trekking across the country after signing with McGill.

β€œI chose McGill for its prestige as a great university, (its) location and I’m excited to experience a different province,” said Bradbrooke, who is from Nanaimo, BC. β€œTheir coaching staff seemed invested and ready to succeed.”

The future physical education student spent five years with the NDSS Islanders (BCSSFA). He also spent one spring playing Game Ready Elite 7v7 football. He was the 2015 NDSS athlete of the year. The following year he was a provincial all-star defensive back. During high school, Bradbrooke, who is 5’11, 165lbs, was primarily a quarterback.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
