Montreal Carabins player tests positive for banned substance

Radio-Canada (Quebec CBC) has confirmed that a player from the Montreal Carabins has tested positive for a banned substance. The Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) has passed the test results of the offending player to the Carabins. It remains to be seen if the player will appeal or not. CFC has learned that the player in question has not practiced with the team for approximately the last week.

The CCES has yet to release an official statement about the case and the Montreal Carabins have refused to comment more on the case. This is the fourth case in the QUFL since 2010.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
