Montreal kicker US All-American Bowl bound

The good news continues for JJ Molson.

Yesterday on twitter, the 6’1, 190 kicker from Montreal, Quebec announced on twitter while attending FBU Top Gun that he has been selected to play in the US Army All-American Bowl:

He was selected by the Bowl Selection Committee out of 400 nominees.

Out of those 400 nominations of the top high school players in the US, 90 players will be chosen to participate in the Bowl game, which will be played on Saturday January 9th at the Alamodome in San Antoino, Texas.

Back in June, CFC reported that #CFC100 CLASS 2016 top ranked Patrice Rene has been nominated for consideration.  The Ottawa defensive back has yet to find out but could join Molson at the prestigious showcase.

Finalists are being announced as the US Army All-American Bowl Selection Tour continues on into the fall season.  By December, the 90 finalists will be revealed as the tour concludes.

Last year, 2015 CFC#1 Neville Gallimore was selected.  On the NBC national telecast, the 6’6, 303 pound defensive end from Ottawa, Ontario announced he would sign with the University of Oklahoma Sooners.
