NCAA Early Signing Day: Chase Brown ready to ride after officially signing with the Western Michigan Broncos

CFC100 RB Chase Brown (St. Stephenā€™s, FL – London, ON)
There was a hot race between many NCAA programs in order to secure Chase Brownā€™s services, but in the end it was Western Michigan who won out with Brown officially signing his letter of intent to play for the Broncos.

Brown originally made his name in London, Ontario before making his way to St. Stephenā€™s in Florida, and he never skipped a beat with his abilities surpassing all borders as he led the Falcons to a Florida State Title this season. Brown rushed for 1508 yards and 27 total touchdowns, and his exploits led to a laundry list of offers from Purdue, Central Michigan, Central Florida and Indiana among others, but Western Michigan had what Brown was looking for at the next level. Chase will be parting ways with his twin brother CFC100 Sydney Brown who signed with Illinois, which is a bit surprising, but they did make it clear before the recruiting season that they were not going to hold one another back from pursuing their best interests on and off the field.

Western Michigan is coming off a down year with a 6-6 record in the MAC Conference after going 13-1 in 2016 with a top 25 ranking, so itā€™ll be interesting to see where Brown fits into the equation as the Broncos try to reclaim the conference going forward.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
