NCAA frenzy continues (VIDEO)

Canadian Class 2015 recruits active on NCAA market in recent days.

Three class 2015 recruits have been busy on the NCAA front in the past few days.

It up to 12 Division 1 offers for Neville Gallimore.Β  The 6’3, 280 pound defensive end from Ottawa, Ontario received two additional ones in the past week – University of Pittsburgh Panthers (April 8th) and University of Wisconsin Badgers. (April 11th)

The defensive standout received his first offer from the University of Maryland Terrapins back on February 20th and since then has received others from University of Nevada Wolfpack, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Bruins, University of California, Berkeley Golden Bears, University of Minnesota Gophers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, TCU (Texas Christian University), Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Rice Owls and South Florida Bulls.

Gallimore is currently attending Canada Prep Football Academy and is playing for the Raiders.Β  Among the other teams he has suited up for include St. Patrick Fighting Irish of National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSAA), junior varsity Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and South Ottawa Mustangs.

Graydon Campbell

Meanwhile, Graydon Campbell has netted another Division 1 offer.Β  After CFC reported the trio of offers the 6’3, 270 pound offensive lineman from Greely, Ontario received, offer number four came on Friday.Β  The newest one came from James Madison University Dukes.

After this past weekend’s visit to Old Dominion, Campbell left the Monarchs with offer number 5 in tow.

Back on March 8th, Campbell received his first offer from Elon Phoenix.Β  The lineman received additional offers from University of Marshall Thundering Herd (April 4th) and Bucknell Bison (April 7th).

Currently, Campbell is playing for his high school team, Episcopal Maroon in Alexandra, Virginia, where has been selected as an All-Conference and All-State Lineman. The offensive lineman has also suited up for the St. Mark Lions of the National Capital Secondary School Athletic Association (NCSSAA) and the South Gloucester Raiders of the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA).

Jonathan Femi-Cole Minn visit 2

To cap off the Canadian NCAA frenzy, Jonathan Femi-Cole took a trip south of the border.

The 5’11, 218 pound officially visited the first school to offer him – University of Minnesota Gophers.

Since the February 20th offer from the Gophers, Femi-Cole has received others from the University of Buffalo Bulls and the University of Nevada Wolfpack.

Currently, Femi-Cole is suiting up for his high school team, St. Andrew’s College Saints of the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA).

Femi-Cole began his football career in grade nine for the St. Joan of Arc Thunder of the York Region Athletic Association (YRAA); he was instantaneously hooked on the sport.

The Ontario offensive standout moved on to have a successful career with the Newmarket Bucs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).Β  During his time with the Bucs, he was honoured for his exceptional play on the field with Player of the Week, OVFL Offensive Player MVP honours as well as an OVFL All-Star selection.
