Oregon Ducks offer Kongbo (VIDEO)

The offers keep on piling up for Jonathan Kongbo.

Just prior to his official visit to the school, the University of Oregon Ducks offered the 6’6, 250 pound defensive end from Surrey, British Columbia.

He announced the news and official visits via twitter late Thursday night:

With this offer, Kongbo is up to 14th NCAA Division 1 offers. Among the other offers include ones from California Golden Bears (November 17th), Mississippi State Bulldogs (November 9th), Tennessee Volunteers (October 21st), Oregon State Beavers (November 2nd), Arizona Wildcats (October 22nd), Nebraska Cornhuskers (October 25th), Washington Huskies (October 28th), Louisville Cardinals (October 29th) as well as ones he received earlier in his recruitment process from Auburn Tigers, Middle Tennessee State Blue Devils, Ole Miss Rebels and South Florida Bulls.

Currently, Kongbo is playing at the JUCO level with Arizona Western College Matadors.  Previous to the Matadors, the defensive end suited up for with the Holy Cross Crusaders of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).  For his exceptional play on the field in 2013, Kongbo was named a Provincial ‘AA’ All-Star.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
