Richards has made his dream a reality now that the ink has dried on his letter of intent with the Orange.Ā The 6’3, 218Ā pound defensive standout from Brampton, Ontario has committed to NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team, Syracuse Orange.

Richards played for Football North this past season and was a dominate force for the program.

In 2015, Richards helped St. Roch Ravens of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) make history by winning their first ever OFSAA Bowl game.Ā Additionally, the defensive standout has suited up for the Brampton Bulldogs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
This past spring, Richards participated in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge as a member of Team Halton-Peel’s varsity squad.
Representing his home province, Richards participated in the 2015 Football Canada Cup in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
Among the honours the defensive back has received include 2015 Football Canada Cup All-Star nod, 2015 Football Canada Cup Defensive Player of the Game honours and an OVFL All-Star selection.
Richards was ranked on the CFC100 CLASS 2017 RANKINGS.
