ONT (OFSAA): Condlin leads CFC #19 Spartans to first Bowl victory since 2000

Devin Condlin tallied two majors and amassed 153 receiving yards on seven catches to lead CFC # 19 Lorne Park Spartans to their first OFSAA Bowl win since 2000

On Tuesday, the Spartans defeated CFC # 15 Frontenac Falcons 32-1.

Condlin opened the scoring in the first quarter as pivot Alex Lavric connected with him for a 70 yard touchdown reception.

After Tyler Price was successful on a field goal attempt and added a rouge after a missed field goal, the Spartans went into halftime enjoying an 11-0 lead over the Falcons.

In the fourth quarter, Lavric found Condlin once again for a 21 yard touchdown pass.

Adam Black dashed into the end zone for a 52 yard major while Kevin Foster Verdier rounded out the scoring for the Spartans with a 52 yard touchdown late in the final frame. The running back amassed 104 rushing yards on 13 carries in the Bowl game.

Lavric had 16 completions in 24 attempts, 228 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and two interceptions in the game to lead the Spartans offense.

The last time the Spartans won in the OFSAA Bowl series was 2000 in the Metro Bowl.
