Michael Tarbutt will be staying south of the border for the next stage of his gridiron career.
On Friday, the 6ā0, 177 pound kicker/punter from Grimsby, Ontario announced via twitter that he verbally committed to NCAA Divisionā1 UCONN Huskies after being given a full scholarship offer:

This fall, Tarbutt is completing his final season with Canisius Crusaders, a high school in Buffalo, New York. Moreover, the kicker/punter has suited up for the Niagara Spears of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). The Crusaders were thrilled of the news that one of their own has realized their gridiron dream and took to twitter to express their sentiments:
