Ontario Prospect Challenge profile: Drake getting ready for Fall

Today CFC will feature Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Michael Drake.

Position: Linebacker/ Kicker/ Punter

Height/Weight: 6’1″/200lbs

School status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team: Holy Trinity CSS

Michael Drake is just one of the latest to sign up for the inaugural Ontario Prospect Challenge sponsored by CFC. The OPC gives young football players from all over the province the opportunity to participate in high intensity practices overseen by some of Canada’s best coaches.

Michael Drake is a young football All-Star who is excited about being around some of the most influential people in the game. “I want to continue my high level of play in the OPC to promote myself to coaches and scouts,” says Drake.

This past summer Drake was a part of the Clarington Knights of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

For this competition, Drake’s goals include, “Being a starter and a leader in this game.”
