Oregon Ducks makes “dream come true” for Class 2017 prospect Hubbard (VIDEO)

Class 2017 prospect Chuba Hubbard may have offered a slight clue of one of the leading contenders that may land him in the coming days and months.

On Tuesday, the 6’1, 190 pound running back from Sherwood Park, Alberta realized a significant gridiron dream.  He took to twitter to announce that NCAA Division 1 Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team, Oregon Ducks had offered him:

With the Ducks offer, Hubbard is up to 16 NCAA offers.  Among the offers are ones from Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, Oklahoma Sooners, Iowa State Cyclones, Texas A&M Aggies, North Carolina Tar Heels, Colorado Buffaloes, Miami Hurricanes, Auburn Tigers, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Colorado State Rams, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Tennessee Vols, Syracuse Orange, Washington State Cougars and Bowling Green Falcons.

Currently, the offensive standout is with the Bev Facey Falcons of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA).  During the 2015 season, Hubbard scored 30 majors and rushed for 2,534 yards on 135 carries.

Additionally, he previously suited up for Sherwood Park Rams.

During his career, Hubbard has received several honours including Team, Offensive and Special Teams MVP as well as Outstanding Running Back Award.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
