Path to the Draft: CFC40 OG Liam Dobson

Welcome back to our Path to the Draft series, where we highlight 2021 CFL/NFL Draft-eligible players and provide a rundown of their draft stock, an outlook on their current season, and an assessment on their strengths and weaknesses on the field.

Maine’s Liam Dobson is a mauler on the Black Bears offensive line as a multi-year starter for the team. In 2019, he started at right tackle for them, although he projects clearly as a guard at the next level, and right guard is where he started in 2018. He was the team’s most outstanding offensive lineman, in addition to being a third-team All-American and a member of the all-conference first team. He averaged a ridiculous 12 knockdown blocks per game.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
