Path to the Draft: CFC40 OT Sage Doxtater

Welcome back to our Path to the Draft series, where we highlight 2021 CFL/NFL Draft-eligible players and give you a rundown of their probable draft position, an outlook on their current season, and an assessment on them as a player.

8th in our series is the New Mexico State Aggies 4th-year starter and blindside protector, Sage Doxtater. Doxtater is a mountain of a man at 6’7”, hailing from Welland, Ontario. Doxtater has started at left tackle since he was a true freshman and part of the Sun Belt All-Conference Newcomer Team. His redshirt season came last year, where he played only the last 4 games of the season due to a nagging shoulder injury.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
