For the Harry Ainlay Titans, it was a great experience being able to play another CFC50 team, the Raymond Comets, in preseason action.

“We wanted to give our players an opportunity to play in some different settings before we start our 7 game Carr schedule in Edmonton,” commented head coach of the Titans, Tyler Greenslade. “Playing in Raymond was a great experience for our team to bond and we believe that our game in Saskatoon will be the same. Ultimately the more game reps against different competition is a benefit for us this early in the season.”

10th grader, QB Eli Hetlinger had 18 completions for 23 to go along with 3 TDs, 2 INTs, and 330 yard passing. Running back Jon Rosery also had a great game with 5 attempts and 30 yards rushing, 4 catches, and 156 yards receiving for 2 TDs. 11th grader, receiver Emmanuel Loggale finished off the night with 5 catches for 119 yards to go along with 1 TD.

“We are happy with how our team performed this past Friday in our game versus the Raymond Comets. Every player on our team saw playing time and our starting units were productive on O and D. Like most teams at this time of year we have lots to clean up especially before our game versus Campbell Collegiate this Friday in Saskatoon,” said Coach Greenslade.
