Josh Mosley is a dominant force on the offensive line and has made a real impression this season with the Spears. After an exceptional season with the Niagara Spears of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL), Josh was named a junior varsity league All-Star for a second consecutive year.

“I am so grateful to have been named an OVFL All-star the past two seasons and would just like to thank all of my coaches and fellow players for this great honour,”  says Josh.

Josh started his football career in grade 5, when he started playing ball for the Fort Erie Longhorns of the Niagara Regional Minor Football Association. He has been a member of the  Spears organization since grade 7, and is likely to continue playing for them during his senior varsity years. Not only is he a proud Spear, but Josh also plays high school ball with Lakeshore Gators of the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association (NHSRAA).

This past summer, Josh experienced the highlight of his young griridion career when he was named to the GHR Future Stars team this May and also served as captain of the team.He has become a true leader on the field and continually pushes his teammates to play to their full potential.

Josh is new to the university recruiting process and has left himself open to any and all offers.

When Josh is looking for the support he needs in order to succeed, he always looks to his parents as well as the rest of his family.

“The most influential people for me on and off the field are my parents and family who are there for every game,” says Josh.

Also, he gives gratitude to all of the Spears coaches as well as his trainer Mr. John Charette.

Josh is continually improving with the goal of making the OVFL All-Star list for a third consecutive time.

“I will keep being consistent with my training and keep learning as much as I can about offensive line play from everyone who is willing to teach me,” says Josh.
