Philippe Okounam became the one of three Canadians to sign earlier today with NCAA FBS team UCONN Huskies.
The 6β5, 265 pound defensive end from Chateauguay, Quebec completed a stint with Concord, New Hampshire high school team, St. Paulβs.
Previous to St. Paulβs, Okounam suited up for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1Bβs Dalbe Viau Aigles DβOr in his home province.
With Okounmanβs signing, UCONN Huskies signed three Canadian players today.Β The other two are CFC# 7 wide receiver Hergy Mayala and Ontario kicker Michael Tarbutt.
