Recruiting Wrap CanWest: Three prospects chosen in March

The University of Alberta is pleased to welcome another local product to their roster. Ethan Warner will join the defense as a linebacker for the Golden Bears.

Ethan joined the Bears because of their academics and the proximity the university is to home. “I loved their academic options,” he states.

The young linebacker will be enrolling in the Bachelor of Arts program with hopes to major in psychology.

Ethan Warner has played football for the Edmonton Chargers Football Club (CDMFA), as well as Austin O’Brien High School (MEHSAA).

On March 7th, 2021 Ethan Warner took the next step in his football career and signed with the University of Alberta Golden Bears.

Orin Schellenberg is the latest recruit for the Alberta Golden Bears. Orin makes the leap to the Golden Bears from Jasper Place High School (MEHSAA) in Edmonton.

Alberta’s new wide receiver weighs in at 5 ’11, 175lbs.

Orin agreed to become a member of the Golden Bears on March 8th, 2021.

CFC APRIL MADNESS PROFILE TOURNAMENT 

The University of Alberta Golden Bears have made another singing in the month of March.

Athlete Daniel Yussuf will don the Green and Gold in 2021.

Daniel is also from Jasper Place High School (MEHSAA) in Edmonton.

Unfortunately, Daniel Yussuf could not be reached at press time.
