Recruiting Wrap: 5 CFC-ranked commits join OUA, CanWest, AUS schools

While the recruits have been coming in a bit slower than normal, five CFC-ranked commits have chosen which schools they will be playing for in the upcoming season.

British Columbia

CFC200 Benjamin Couling

Benjamin Couling, an offensive lineman from St. James High School, is returning north of the border for school. Originally from Barrie, Ontario, the hulking 6’4”, 300lbs guard played with the St. James Saints in Hagerstown, MD. He has also played as a centre and defensive tackle. He participated in the 2016 Ontario Prospect Challenge.

CFC150 Damian Akweter

Athlete Damian Akweter is from Milton, Ontario where he played with the Jean Vanier Knights (YRAA). He stands at 6’2”, 190lbs and has lined up as a wide receiver and running back. He also played with the Burlington Stampeders (OFC).

Bradly Peters, an offensive lineman form Fredericton High School, will be flying with the Ravens after signing with the team. A resident of Fredericton, New Brunswick, the 6’2”, 275lbs guard and nose guard has been playing with the Black Kats (NBHSFA) since 2016.

Athlete Keanu Brown from Football North Clarkson is heading to the east coast. The 5’9”, 180lbs resident of Etobicoke, Ontario participated in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge. He also played with the Etobicoke Eagles (OPFL).
