Kain Brown is heading to Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario to play for Laurier next season as he has committed to becoming a Golden Hawk.
Brown is a 6’1″, 230 lb linebacker from Brampton, Ontario, where he played for David Suzuki High School.
“[My decision] was based on the genuine support I received from [Laurier] and how much they believe in me,” says Brown.

LB Chris Tshikuna
Chris Tshikuna will be making the short trip from Hamilton, Ontario to Waterloo as he has also committed to the Golden Hawks.
Tshikuna is a 5’11”, 205 lb linebacker for the Hamilton Varsity Tiger-Cats. He is originally from Toronto, Ontario.
“I chose Laurier football because, not only did they show that they wanted me, but they also showed that they believed in me and saw the vision I had for myself and how I play the game,” says Tshikuna.

Max Harris is the latest commit for Laurier and one of their highest ranked recruits.
Harris is a 6’5″, 280 lb offensive tackle for Football North and lives in Pickering, Ontario.

RB Dylan Bernardo
Dylan Bernardo is sticking around in his hometown to play for the McMaster Marauders.
Bernardo is a 6’1″, 215 lb running back from Hamilton, where he played for Bishop Ryan.
“I chose McMaster because they have an extreme passion for football and play like a family, which I am so grateful to be apart of now,” explains Bernardo.
“I chose McMaster because McMaster is my hometown university and it’s been a long-time dream to play there,” he adds. “After receiving a call from the coaching staff and having the numerous zoom meetings with them, I truly felt that McMaster University and the Marauders would be the best fit for me and my education along with my football career. I am extremely excited to become a McMaster Marauder and extremely excited to see my next chapter as a football player and get an amazing education.”

REC Jacob Grimes
Jacob Grimes is the third receiver to join the new class of Marauders.
Grimes is a 6’0″, 170 lb pass-catcher for Pickering High School in Pickering.
DB Samuel Crawford
Samuel Crawford is another Ontario native heading to McMaster this fall.
Crawford is a 6’1″, 165 lb defensive back from Etobicoke, Ontario, where he played for Richview Collegiate Institute.
DB Caleb Kirsch
Caleb Kirsch is the most recent commit for the Marauders.
Kirsch is a 5’11”, 175 lb defensive back for Westmount Secondary School in Cayuga, Ontario.
OL Zach Seguin
Zach Seguin is staying home in the nation’s capital to attend uOttawa and play football for the Gee-Gees.
Seguin is a 6’6″, 280 lb offensive tackle from Ottawa, Ontario, where he played for the Orleans Raftsmen.

Ismail is a 6’1″, 185 lb defensive back from Ottawa, where he played high school football at St. Matthews. He is transferring from the Guelph Gryphons.

Johari McGregor is the latest transfer for uOttawa.
McGregor is a 5’11”, 228 lb linebacker from LaSalle, Quebec. He played for Clearwater Academy in Clearwater, Florida. He is transferring from UBC.

George is a 6’0″, 280 pound brawler from Toronto, where he played for Northern Secondary School.
