RB Cyril Laib – Concordia

We kickoff the RSEQ Recruiting Wrap with some flavour of the European variety as Concordia add running back Cyril Laib out of Cegep de Victoriaville.

The 5’11”, 210lbs tailback was born in France where he played for the Pôle France Revolution, and the French national team.

DB Keven Day Caron – Concordia

Next up the Stingers add defensive back Keven Day-Caron out of College Champlain-Lennoxville.

Day-Caron stands at 5’11”, 172lbs, and grew up playing for the Bulldogs of the Association elite de football de l’Estrie.

DB Micael Matthew – Concordia

The second of a trio of defensive back commits for Concordia is Micael Matthews out of College John Abbott.

The 6’0″ prospect also played for the LaSalle Warriors during his youth career.

DL Adnane Rekibi – Concordia

Concordia look to the French tricolour for some more support as they add the commitment of defensive lineman Adnane Rekibi out of Cegep de Trois-Rivieres.

Rekibi was a member of Flash de La Courneuve in France before moving across the Atlantic to live out his dream in Quebec.

WR Simone Sanita – Concordia

The Stingers add some size to their receiving corps with the commitment of Simone Sanita out of College Vanier.

Standing at 6’3″, 195lbs, Sanita should be ready to make an impact early on campus.

LB Sunny Letourneau – Concordia

It was a sunny day for Concordia when they received the commitment of linebacker Sunny Letourneau out of College Champlain-Lennoxville.

The 6’1″, 220lbs prospect grew up playing for the North Shore Lions before setting off on his CEGEP career.

WR William Tremblay – Concordia

RSEQ defenders will need to be on alert for this class of Stinger receivers with another big commitment from William Tremblay out of Cegep de Saint-Hyacinthe.

Measuring in at 6’1″, 200lbs, Tremblay should also come with a ton of experience after completing his high school career at Charles-Lemoyne, and spending time at Champlain-Lennoxville before transferring to Saint-Hyacinthe for his final year.

DB Jeremy Gauthier – Concordia

The final of our trio of Stingers defensive backs is Jeremy Gauthier out of Cegep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Size was definitely a factor with former La-Cite-des-Jeunes prospect stacking up at 6’2″, 180lbs on the backend.

WR Louis-Felix Doyon – Concordia

Then lastly Concordia add another receiver with Louis-Felix Doyon out of Cegep Limoilou.

Doyon measures in at 5’11”, 200lbs, and spent his high school career at College Francois-de-Laval.

OG Alexis Dube – Laval

Laval kickoff this week with the addition offensive guard Alexis Dube out of Cegep Limoilou.

Dube doesn’t tip the scales measuring in at 6’1″, 250lbs, but we’re sure that’ll change after the Rouge et Or training staff get ahold of him in the weight room.

CFC60 DE William Quenneville – Laval

Flipping our attention to the other side of the trench we’ve got Laval adding defensive end William Quenneville out of Campus Notre-Dame de Foy.

Quenneville should come with a solid winning pedigree after spending his high school days winning championships at Seminaire Saint-Francois.

DT Cedric Lamontagne – Laval

Laval weren’t finished polishing off their future trench yet with the addition of defensive tackle Cedric Lamontagne out of Cegep Garneau.

Lamontagne has a lower centre of gravity standing at 6’1″, 280lbs, and is another player who enjoyed a lot of success during his high school career playing at Saint-Jean-Eudes.

CFC60 LB Charles-Alexandre Jacques – Laval

Our final prospect prepared to carry on the Rouge et Or tradition of excellence is linebacker Charles-Alexandre Jacques, also out of Cegep Garneau.

He’s already a man-child measuring in at 6’3″, 218lbs, and must’ve been scary to play against when he suited up at Séminaire des Pères Maristes.

CFC60 WR Fabrice Hennekens – Montreal

We head over to the blue side of the rivalry, and size is the theme of this Recruiting Wrap as Montreal claim receiver Fabrice Hennekens out of College Champlain-Lennoxville.

The 6’3″, 210lbs prospect adds immediate size out wide, and spent his high school career at College Charles-Lemoyne.

CB Fred Ymele Wickel – Montreal

Next up on the Carabins wish list is defensive back Fred Ymele Wickel out of College Ahunstic.

The dynamic defender stacks up at 6’0″, 178lbs, and spent his high school days playing at Cure-Antoine-Labelle.

C Varens Janvier – Montreal

Montreal are also adding reinforcement up front with the addition of centre Varens Janvier out of Vieux Montreal.

Janvier measures in at 6’0″, 275lbs, and spent his high school care at Cure-Antoine-Labelle.

CB Julian Nelson – Montreal

Next up for the Carabins is the commitment of defensive back Julian Nelson out of Andre Grasset.

The 5’10”, 165lbs prospect spent his high school career at College Jean-Eudes.

OG Ming Xi Cui – Montreal

Our final Montreal commit takes us back to the trenches with the commitment of offensive guard Ming Xi Cui.

Cui spent his high school days at College Notre Dame and stacks up at 6’2″, 270lbs.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
