CFC200 LB Anthony Lukan

Anthony Lukan is the Carleton Ravens’ last commit of 2020 before recruiting resumes in 2021.

Lukan is a 6’1″, 210 lb linebacker from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He played football for Bethlehem Catholic High School.

“I chose Carleton because, overall, the school felt like a great fit for me and the coaches made me feel welcome and a part of their family from the beginning,” explains Lukan. “For as long as I can remember, itā€™s been my goal to attend an out-of-province university and play university football. I canā€™t think of a better place rather than the countryā€™s capital.”

DB Parsa Heydarzadeh

Parsa Heydarzadeh is the fifth student-athlete coming to the Queen’s Gaels from the west coast.

Heydarzadeh is a 6’2″, 180 lb defensive back from Vancouver where he played for Vancouver College.

RB Gabe Valedis

Gabe Valedis will be staying in his hometown as he joins the newest class of Waterloo Warriors.

Valedis is a 5’10”, 200 lb running back for St. James Catholic High School in Waterloo, Ontario.

“I chose Waterloo because itā€™s the school that matches my personality the most,” says Valedis. “Theyā€™ve begun the process of building a high-caliber team and I want to be a part of that while also getting a high-caliber education.”

DB Liam McDonagh

Liam McDonagh will be making the two-hour trip from London, Ontario to Windsor, Ontario as he is set to become a Windsor Lancer in 2021.

McDonagh is a 5’11”, 145 lb defensive back from London where he played for Catholic Central High School.

“I chose the University of Windsor because, before I even stepped foot on the campus or in the locker room, it felt like a family already,” says McDonagh. “I already felt like it would be my home away from home.”

DB Matthew Peters

Matthew Peters is the most recent commit for the Lancers.

Peters is a 6’0″, 145 lb defensive back for East Elgin High School. He is from Springfield, Ontario.

“Windsor is a great school with a great football team and coaching staff,” says Peters. “Academically, they have the perfect program for me.”

CFC150 DL Sterling May

Sterling May is the first and only British Columbia native who has committed to the York Lions this season.

May is a 6’5″, 220 lb defensive end from Victoria where he played for Belmont Secondary School.

ā€œI choose York because it was the best fit for me and I think itā€™s a huge opportunity for not only right now but also my future,” says May.

LB Giante Hicks

Giante Hicks will be coming to York all the way from Arizona as the team’s only American commit.

Hicks is a 5’11”, 235 lb linebacker for Jireh Prep in Phoenix.

TE Aneal Chahal

Aneal Chahal will also be joining the Lions from south of the border.

Chahal is a Kitchener, Ontario product who played for Fork Union in Virginia. He measures at 6’6″, 240 lbs.
