Recruitment frenzy continues for Vilain (VIDEO)

Ottawa DE had five NCAA offers, summer agenda includes visits & camps

Already, Luiji Vilain is already garnering attention.

The 6ā€™3, 230 pound defensive end from Ottawa, Ontario has already received five NCAA Division 1 offers.

Syracuse, Penn State, Rutgers, Minnesota and South Florida are the schools that offered the Class 2017 prospect.

This weekend, Vilain is one of 1600 participants attending the Sound Mind, Sound Body Camp in Michigan.

After the defensive end completes this event, he will be on the summer camp and visit circuit once again. This week, he is set to take in an official visit at Michigan where he will meet Head Coach Jim Harbaugh and company.

Next month, Vilain will travel to participate in the Ohio Stateā€™s Friday Night Lights Camp.Ā  By the end of the summer, he is looking to revisit a pair of NCAA schools ā€“ Notre Dame and Michigan State.

Currently, the defensive end is playing alongside CFC#1 Patrice Rene on Alexandria, Virginiaā€™s Episcopal Maroon.

Among the teams he has played for include Lester B Pearson and Cumberland Panthers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
