Red River Cup all star team announced

After Wednesday night’s games there was no question in anyone’s mindsΒ that the young men competing in the Red River Cup are talented and impressive football players. Last night, the coaches of the five participating teams chose the Red River Cup All Star Team, listed below.

Winnipeg West’s Trevor Wright, who has been ripping it up on the turf in one of the most explosive coming out parties Manitoba has ever seen, was a unanimous choice for the All Star Team, as was his teammate, Offensive Lineman Reid Irwin.

The last four games of the Red River Cup are Saturday, July 13th. The Bronze Medal Round Robin takes place from 12:00 – 5:30pm, where Winnipeg East, North Saskatchewan and South Saskatchewan will fight for the Bronze Medal.
