Report: Montreal Carabins use ineligible player – ruling to follow by CIS

Multiple news reporters and bloggers are reporting that the Montreal Carabins used an ineligible player in the Saint Mary’s game.

Mike Dubuisson was involved in that infamous CJFL brawl in Hamilton with his St Leonard team and apparently should have been suspended for three games like Sherbrooke running back Benji Djock. Dubuisson had an interception in the game and sat out the team’s previous two games.

We will release the news on the ruling once it becomes available. The file will be scrutinized by the head of the RSEQ, John Bowers, who will issue a decision in the coming days.
