Rouge et Or has all elements for CEGEP recruit

Mirabel tight end/fullback recently joins RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

One place had everything Benjamin Garand-Gauthier was looking for to continue his gridiron career and academic pursuits.

Recently, the 6’1, 230 pound tight end/fullback from Mirabel, Quebec committed to the Laval Rouge et Or. Garand-Gauthier will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œI decided to choose Laval because all the elements that make it the best place for me to continue my career,” expressed Garand-Gauthier of his commitment.Β  β€œI love the city of Quebec, I have more chance to get into my program and I love the mentality of this team.”

Recently, Garand-Gauthier completed his CEGEP career with Division 2 team, Lionel-Groulx Nordic.Β  This past season, he racked up 188 yards on 42 carries and two rushing touchdowns.Β  Additionally, he had 241 yards on 20 receptions and two receiving touchdowns.
