Saskatchewan adds four Calgary teammates to their Class of 2018.
It is said that your teammates become like brothers to you, and quarterback Ethan Watson, defensive back Ethan Gee and receivers Taylor Doyle and Daniel Perry from St. Francis High School won’t be separating anytime soon after all four committed to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.
Ethan Watson
When Ethan Watson visited the University of Saskatchewan, he was quite astonished with what he found. “Unbelievable atmosphere around the university for the football team and a great team moral,” Watson said about why he committed.
“Head Coach Flory is very calm, yet he is very energetic, which makes you really want to play for him,” he added. “Coach Jeremy Long is very knowledgeable about the quarterback position.”
Watson spent time with the St. Francis Browns (Calgary High School Athletic Association) and the Calgary Cowboys (Calgary Area Midget Football Association) in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta. The 6’3, 200lbs quarterback and wide receiver was a Division 1 all-star quarterback and city champion after his team beat the Henry Wise Wood Warriors. He has been admitted into the Edward’s School of Business.
Ethan Gee
Ethan Gee has nothing but positive thoughts towards his future school. “I decided to commit because I was impressed by the facilities and the coaching staff,” he said. “I have nothing but good things to stay about the staff, who were very friendly and welcoming.”
Gee is a fellow Browns and Cowboys teammate. He has won two city championships with the Cowboys and two with the Browns. He also captured a provincial championship with the Browns. Standing at 5’11, 175lbs, he has played as a corner, halfback and safety in his eight-year career. He is also planning on taking business and calls Calgary home.
Taylor Doyle
Taylor Doyle, who is from Calgary, has played for both the Browns junior and senior team.
Daniel Perry
Fellow product of Calgary, Daniel Perry, is 5’11, 165lbs and has played as a slotback and wide receiver for both the Browns and the Cowboys.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
