Burnaby, BC – Former Simon Fraser University football player Victor Marshall (Kirkland, WA) has signed with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks.
The 6’4 wide receiver wore number 85 when he played with the Clan in 2009.
He spent one season in a Clan uniform where he was the team’s top wide receiver, playing in SFU’s final season in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, prior to the school’s move to the NCAA.
In eight games that season, Marshall had 40 receptions for 535 yards, both team highs. He averaged 13.4 yards per catch, scored two touchdowns and averaged 66.9 yards per game.
Marshall also had one 12-yard rush that season.
He was fifth in the Canada West in receptions per game in 2009 and fourth in receiving yards per game.
The SFU Clan football team will begin training camp in preparations for the 2013 Great Northwest Athletic Conference season in August at Terry Fox Field atop Burnaby Mountain.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
