Sherbrooke commit believes team changing for better

Sherbrooke adds one Québec commit to their 2020 class.

For Édouard Bérubé-McGee, a defensive lineman from Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon, it was all about the coaches when he signed with the University of Sherbrooke Vert & Or.

He said that he chose the university because of the coaches, and the time they took to show him the team. “I think there is something changing for the better in Sherbrooke,” Bérubé-McGee added.

Standing at 6’0, 255lbs, he is interested in taking business affairs. Hailing from Trois-Rivières, Québec, Bérubé-McGee played at l’Académie les estacades in high school and with Les Faucons du Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon (RSEQ Division 1). While he hasn’t won any major awards, he said he was “just doing the job.”

In 2017, he helped his team win the quarter finals with a pick six. The final score was 22-21 for Les Faucons. He said it was the first time that the team won a quarter finals game.
